Disaster Relief
J&J and the J&J Foundation are directly supporting the community with immediate relief through our ongoing partnerships with the American Red Cross, Americares and Heart to Heart International to meet the health and hygiene needs of those impacted, as well as through certain product donations. Additionally, the J&J Foundation is matching employee donations to eligible non-profits responding to this crisis through the J&J Matching Gifts Program.
To address the immediate and longer-term needs of healthcare workers and the communities they serve, the J&J Foundation has provided Americares with an additional $250,000 grant to provide mental health services and other assistance in the aftermath of this disaster.
The J&J Foundation support is intended to help those in need today, tomorrow and through recovery. We will continue to work with partners to identify additional ways we can support the impacted people and communities.
How you can help
Consider making a monetary donation to Americares or the American Red Cross.
U.S.-based retirees are reminded to submit their donations to the J&J U.S. Matching Gifts program for a 1:1 company match by visiting giving.jnj.com
If J&J retirees want to lend a hand, here are ways they can help:
The Red Cross depends on voluntary donations of lifesaving blood every day — not only following disasters. Those interested can schedule a blood donation appointment at RedCrossBlood.org.
Volunteers comprise 90% of the Red Cross workforce. We are always looking for more dedicated supporters to help with sheltering, health services and other urgent needs. Learn more about their most needed positions and sign up to volunteer at: redcross.org/volunteertoday.
